Solution With a global pandemic upon us and challenging the restaurant industry, a majority of their clients, starrdesign needed a strategic marketing plan to stay top of mind. We developed a monthly video series called “Restaurants Redefined: The Restaurant of the Future” that featured starrdesign owner, Steve Starr. The goal of the monthly campaign was to position Steve as a thought leader in the restaurant industry and generate new contacts through organic and paid media opportunities. We pulled together a series logo and branding to set the tone for the six episode video series. Along with the branding, our team built out a custom landing page with a Hubspot form to capture new contacts that were interested in receiving the Restaurants Redefined video series via email. Our team also put together a LinkedIn Lead Generation Ad strategy using the video topic for each month to drive new contacts and grow the restaurant industry database. By using a multi-pronged campaign approach, we were able to drive new web traffic and generate new sales contacts for starrdesign. The combination of email marketing, videos, press engagements, and LinkedIn ads proved to be a successful recipe for the Restaurants Redefined video series campaign. The campaign emails were well above industry averages with a 39% open rate and 24% click-through rate to view the Restaurant Redefined video series. The series also gained press attention with podcast engagements and an article in Foodservice Equipment Reports.
